ED 501 - Effective Instruction To Increase Student Engagement and Achievement - 3 Graduate Credits
This course will focus on effective instruction in the classroom. Utilizing research-based strategies that have a positive impact on student engagement and assessment will be shared.
Research-based strategies that have a positive impact on student engagement and assessment will be shared. Participants will develop an understanding of effective instruction through a variety of methods and materials. This course will explore a wide range of strategies and techniques for all learners. Participants will learn more about instructional practices, standards, formative and summative assessment information, and student engagement. Participants will review best practices designed to increase student achievement. The course will have an emphasis on student engagement and achievement. Included will be strategies for Gradual Release of Responsibility, differentiation, essential questions, questioning, and assessment information. Overall, the course will focus on practical, researched-based instructional strategies that focused on raising student engagement and achievement.

-Credit is offered through CSU Pueblo/Colorado State University Pueblo.
-Coursework is submitted through Schoology.
-You will pay for the course with iFireUP and we will send you a link to complete the online registration with CSU Pueblo.
