This course will focus on the teaching method Project Based Learning. Participants will gain an understanding of how students gain knowledge by working for an extended period of time to investigate and respond to a complex question or problem.

The research will be shared and discussed around Project Based learning and how educators can implement the teaching method into their classrooms. Participants will develop an understanding of Project Based Learning through a variety of methods and materials. This course will explore a wide range of strategies and techniques for learning through the use of projects. Participants will learn about developing collaborative, inquiry-based projects that support curricular goals. Participants will review best practices designed to foster achievement through the use of projects. Overall, the course will focus on understanding and effectively implementing Project-Based Learning into their classroom.

-Credit is offered through CSU Pueblo/Colorado State University Pueblo.

-Coursework is submitted through Schoology.

-You will pay for the course with iFireUP and we will send you a link to complete the online registration with CSU Pueblo.

-Once you register with CSU Pueblo, you will be provided with your NET ID number. You can expect this email approximately 7-10 days later. Keep a record of this number, it is your student number!
