Online – All online. You will have four weeks from the start date to complete the course. You will work your way through eight modules of learning.
Blended – A combination of face to face learning and online learning, 3 days onsite and 2 days online.

What are the requirements for online courses?
Spring Arbor University and SCECHS information. Participants will complete reflection papers pertaining to the articles assigned and information presented. Participants will complete a final project due at the completion of the course. Participants will learn through eight modules in each course that consists of readings and videos. Spring Arbor University courses are four weeks in duration. Participants may register up to one week prior to the course closing.

What are the conference requirements for Face to Face courses?
The requirements for all conferences are attendance and a daily written response relating to the topic for the day. Note: This may vary by conference.
Who should attend conferences or take online courses?
All of our conferences are appropriate for a range of K-12 teachers, administrators, counselors, social workers, directors, or anyone working with students.
Can course assignments be completed during the conference?
Yes, there will be time to complete assignments during the day.
Can the credit be used for teacher and administrative re-certification?
Yes, each conference or online course we offer with Spring Arbor University can be taken for 75 State Continuing Education Clock Hours (SCECHS) or 3 Graduate Credits.
Yes, Colorado State University – Pueblo credits are graduate level college credits.
Is Spring Arbor University an accredited school?

Yes, you will earn a letter grade for the course.
Will I really earn three graduate credits if I select graduate credit?
Yes, the college graduate credit courses, are three graduate credits.
When will course grades be available?
For Spring Arbor University graduate credit courses, an email will be sent to you indicating how to access your grade after the completion of the online course or conference. Online course grades are available approximately two weeks after the close of the course. Conference course grades are available four weeks post conference. SCECHS are available the week after the conference.
For CSU-Pueblo graduate courses, once course requirements are met and the materials are graded, grades are available shortly after completion of the course.
Can I take the conference or online class for SCECHs AND Graduate Credit?
No, you must select either 3 Graduate Credits or SCECHS.

Can I take the conference more than once?
Spring Arbor University titles all graduate workshop courses EDU 517. The course is identified and distinguished by the course name. So, as long as the course name is different, you may take the course again! Our conferences are all different course numbers, so you can attend the conference multiple times for credit.
Will meals be provided at conferences?
No, meals will not be provided.

When is the last date to register for a conference?
Michigan Education Conference, Lansing – Register by June 10, 2019 (or until full) Michigan Teaching and Learning Conference, Grand Rapids, – Register by July 10, 2019 (or until full).
What is the cancellation policy for the conferences?
All money will be refunded minus a $50 processing fee, if cancelled in writing prior to the cancellation deadline for a course or conference. The cancellation deadlines are Michigan Education Conference – June 1, 2019, Michigan Teaching and Learning Conference – July 1, 2019.
Can I drop an online course?
Due to the nature and timeline of the online courses, once the course has started that you registered for, you are unable to drop the course and receive a refund. You will need to complete the course in order to receive a grade or credit. If you drop an online class prior to the start date, there will be a $50 cancellation processing fee.
