This course will focus on innovation and creativity in the school and classroom.  Participants will learn a variety of techniques and strategies that are stimulating learning in classrooms across the country.

In today’s society we have the advantage of learning from others throughout the country and world via social media.  This course will focus on sharing ideas from educators that are using innovative teaching methods in classrooms and schools.  Ideas on how to engage learners and create a shared vision will be reviewed.  Participants will reflect on their own school culture, use of technology, and opportunities for collaboration.  This course will emphasize powerful learning first, and then how to integrate technology into that learning.  Participants will expand their knowledge and resources in the area of relationships, technology, innovative learning, collaborating, shared leadership, and engagement. This course will use the resource by Couros (2017), The Innovator’s Mindset: Empower Learning, Unleash Talent and Lead a Culture of Creativity.
