Learn the effective strategies to teach your students to critically think, read, write, and talk about your topics using the standards as your guide.  Learn how to help your students analyze multiple text sets to deepen understanding.

Participants will learn highly effective strategies that support critical reading and writing. This course will demonstrate how to help students analyze multiple text sets to deepen understanding. Participants will develop a library of recourses and guides to use in their classroom to enhance student achievement. Participants will develop an understanding of critical reading and writing across all content areas through a variety of methods and materials. This course will explore a wide range of strategies and resources to promote critical reading. Overall, the course will focus on researched based instructional strategies that focused on teaching critical reading and writing across all content areas.
